Medicine · software · small useful systems

Hi, I'm Richard.

I'm a medical student working in neuroscience research, mostly around deep brain stimulation and neuromodulation.

I also build small software and connect tools that make research and everyday work easier. This is where I keep the projects and useful defaults that survive real use.

A few defaults

  • Tailscale — My machines behave like one private network, wherever they are.
  • Obsidian — Where my working notes live: local Markdown, links, and no lock-in.
  • Superwhisper — Most of my rough notes begin as speech. This gets them onto the page.
